Update: Mike Moseley writes: BOSTON
Started life by taking on the King's Lynn Starlets fixtures, and staged their first meeting at New Hammond Beck Road in the August of 1970, defeating local rivals Peterborough in a challenge match. They continued with a fair degree of on track success until the conclusion of the 1984 season, when the promotion were forced to shut the doors due to conflicting business interests. They did reform in the spring of '86, but crowd levels began to fall at an alarming rate, and speedway ceased for ever on the 1st August 1987 with a lack-lustre display against Eastbourne.
